Black 2SS with CGM Hood/Hockey Stripe Package - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Got my car back earlier today from the dealer with my correct hood/hockey stripes installed. When i got the car everyone was like "I like it black" "you should forget the stripes" even after I explained how cool they would look. Well a bunch of those naysayers saw it tonight and were like WOW this looks awesome, great move!

Sorry for the crap pics, I didnt have my good camera just my crappy point and shoot and no light, I had to wash it in my firehouse engine bay since it was dark.

They look much better with good lighting.... coming soon!

That looks good. Nice having it parked at the fire house, I use to do it all the time when I had my bimmer beats letting it sit outside for a shift.Lol.

I just had to wash it tonight to see what they really look like.... Its been raining so much here, and also the guy who put them on didn't clean it after he was done so it had all these water marks from the soapy water or whatever he was using to put on the stripes...

If I ever owned a dealership no car would ever leave my bay dirty unless it absolutely had to.

Probably not, my friend is Boxing in a fight in Coney Island at 7 (no way in hell I'm driving it there lol) so I'm taking the train and subway down there.

Best looking stripes with the Black paint!!! Just my opinion. Really nice.

I like the color combo. I am leaning towards the IBM w/ CGM hood stripes myself. for some reason, the hockey stripe design isnt working for me like I thought it would. but I do like the contrast in the light. the very first pic almost doesnt catch the grey in the stripes. I wonder if there is any contrast with the grey in low light areas at night. If it doesnt then it may give your car a cameleon type appearance at night, which I think is really cool. am I right about that?

Your combo makes me wonder if your a Raiders fan?

LOL defnitely not a Raiders fan...

I wanted to do this to give it a real ghost stripe kind of look and I think I achieved it...
