Talking It is almost SEMA time!!! (Picture HEAVY!)

In 64 days the APEX crew will be headed west for the annual holy pilgrimage to the Mecca of the automotive aftermarket; the SEMA Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center. As we look forward to the trip I thought we would take a look back at some of the awesomeness from the past couple of shows.

I'm pretty sure.... That I'm going to sneak in your trunk to SEMA this year haha. This looks so awesome! I would have to bring a drool rag or something lol.

I really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really want to go to SEMA at some point in my life. It just always happens that this stupid job gets in the way of being able to go. That, and I never have enough Paid Time Off accrued to be able to make it out there for the amount of time that a person really needs to soak it all in...

Someday...though...

Unfortunately, you can't. The SEMA show is not open to the general public. You could take part in the Opinion Leader program or get your car displayed by one of the exhibitors but other than that your prospects are not very good. That is why we try to take plenty of pictures.

Yea it sucks that it is not open to the public and that there isnt a dedicated TV show for it like the Barratt Jackson auto auctions. I need to Hurry up and get my business started so i can get to go sometime.

It is a funny situation. It is the best car show in the world so everyone want to go but it is the world's best car show due to the nature of what it is. It is the automotive aftermarket's main trade show. The exhibitors and attendees are there conducting business. If they open the doors to the general public the place would be over run and it would become almost impossible to get anything accomplished. The only way I could see making it work would be to make it industry only Monday-Friday then open it to the public Saturday and Sunday. It would be a mad house though.

:( They aren't offering the program for 2012

SEMA will not be hosting the Opinion Leader Program at the upcoming 2012 SEMA Show. If you participated with us in any of the past programs, your information remains in our database and you will be contacted if any future programs are offered. Thank you for your interest in the Opinion Leader Program and most importantly for your interest in the specialty-equipment aftermarket.
So the trunk's the only option Chase. How many you think could fit?
