I envy you guys, you get to spend so much time in your cars. Livin on an island, I don't get much time in my car. I bought a new TBSS in '06 and just hit 17,000 miles, and I use it everyday.

I won't hate you at all. Matter of fact you are doing me a service. I'll know every potential pitfall this car can possibly throw at me long before I have alot of mileage on mine because of people like you.

Hate? No your perfect candidate for: Operation Vulture (used SS purchase).

The faster people get there cars and more miles the put on the better*.

Except for the rental fleet. I would never buy a rental car even if it was cheap.

Check out this Million + mile Camaro

I'll probably do the same once I get mine. But the thing is, when the Camaro starts breaking down, I will pay to keep it up because it's that great of a car.

Well I won't put nearly that many miles on it. Simply because I'm not driving it to work. The people at my job have no respect for new vehicles, someone backed into my girlfriends HHR the DAY she got it. No one fessed up to it. (We work at the same place just different shifts) We have a gated and secured parking area so we know it was someone at work.

As for other places, I always park as far away as I can from anyone. So far its kept my 350z dent and ding free.

I like using my camaro as a treat, a reward on a nice sunny day. That's part of why I have to wait longer to get my 5th gen, because I refuse to daily drive it. I daily drove my 4th gen for one year and getting another car to daily was the best choice I made. Not hating on those that will daily drive theirs, but it's not for me. But my SS is no garage queen either.

why would we hate you. a lot of people will be DD'ing this car. myself included (at first).

I put on around 20-30k a year depending on how many times I drive to Illinois to see my family. ive had my pickup for about 2.5 months and already have 7k added to the odo.
