Zl1 sales

I have seen the same Zl1s sitting at my local dealer since last june.

Did they make more cars than the market needs?

There were a bunch of ZL1's at the dealer where I got my 1LE as well. Mine was the only 1LE on the lot.

Because those dealers would rather let them sit on the lot, than sell them for MSRP

Sooner or later dealers will lower their prices. They can sit on them for only so long. I've read that some dealers, not many, are starting give deals on them. I guess they are finally seeing that we don't like getting it stuck up places where the sun doesn't shine.

I can tell you this, here in the Motor City, I have yet to see a single ZL1 other than mine out on the local streets/highways.
I see them at car shows, and I KNOW there's others out there since our own club has 6 or 7 in it, but people just don't seem to be using them as DD's.

Where? I'm in NY as well. Most will not discount here and some want above.

I talked to a dealer about this a couple weeks ago. They are not coming off the price of them too much because they drive people into the dealership. The guy I was talking to was the owner of the dealer who has had a CRM Conv on his floor for 5 weeks. He believes he has sold over a dozen Camaro's to people who came to look at the ZL1 and then decided to got with a 1LE or a Hot Wheels or a Conv SS. He says having one of the lot is the best draw for his dealership he could have and he is not coming off the price until he is sure he has another one to replace it.

I know the dealership in my town has 7 total, 5 coupes and 2 conv. I'm gonna go see them and talk them down on one when I get home.
