Break in completed... Time for some fun!

After what seemed like forever today was the day! Took a drive with the family to Radium Hot Springs BC. Highway 93 is a beautiful mountain drive! Pavement condition is excellent and the twisting corners are fantastic. My only mod is a Roto Fab cai and it does everything the claims say. Blower whine is awesome! This car is a blast to drive spirited. The g force meter is fun to use also. .8g was the most I saw but keep in mind my family was with me. We all had fun accept for my little dog. He got motion sick and puked from all the acceleration and corners. I took it as a complement to the ZL1's ability. Glad I put all weather rubber floor mats in when I got her. Amazing how you get pushed into the seat when you giver shit. I had a 2010 2ss rs prior and was happy with it but after today I finally see what all the hype is about. Great job GM!! She is worth every Pennie!

Enjoy the ride, use the modes to let the car teach you.

Oh aint it a blast though? Sorry to hear the pooch puked in the car. I am so paranoid, no little kids or dogs in my ZL1, only in the Chevy truck until they can prove they are past that stage in life....

I'll be driving the 93 to Radium later in August, I can't wait to experience what you did (sans the puking).
Gotta watch out for the RCs on that stretch, they love to ticket Albertans.

I'm jealous of you. When I had mine out Tuesday it did this.

I know it's unbelievable that I could take the pic at that high rate of speed and still maintain control. Trust me I know better but I had traffic behind me and nowhere to pull over in a small town.

Same. 1500 mile break in, in which time you cannot exceed 4,000 rpms, 80 mph or break hard? Uh no. Granted I'm not going to "race" my Z until it has some miles on it.

Congrats on the break in !! Now it's time to rock the Z..........

I reached the 1500+...( 2489km) 2 weeks ago and im so happy. i did a hard break in( and am glad i did it) !!and guess what no oïl consumption at 2489km, just a tbsp of oïl im my Elite catch can ,my rear end seems silent( cross my fingers) no wholing or grinding at all, pedal to the medal she's incredible( nannies off).I did change my oïl at 500 miles and 1500miles and did flush the rear end to at 500mile and 1500miles and now am waiting for my roto-fab!!
Life is so good!!!

Enjoye your Z....and dont let any Vett's or Stang's guy's bring you down on your Z !!!

Also did the 5 & 20 ECM overnight fuse pull just for giggles. Car feels the same. Must have been in the proper table already.
