Loving my black beauty but.....

I love my car and I just had to have black but I'm beginning to wonder why I did that? It looks great for like 20 minutes then the dust settles or it gets dirty after driving home from the car wash. I'm anal on this car and I think I may have to cut back to once a week on the wash! I'm killing me!

I've only owned one black car, and I will never own another one. Best looking cars on the road when they're clean, but that only lasts a few minutes.

I have a white car now and white always looks clean even when its dirty. If its dirty it looks clean from more than 5 feet and you only see dirt when your up close.

White gets dirty slowly. Hardly shows it. Black shows everything and once you get swirls in the paint. Good LUCK!!!

Just drive it at night!! Back in 2008, my initial Camaro order was for Black. But having a black 08 SS Impala told me exactly what you are going thru.

So I changed to SIM. You can always re-paint the entire car a different color when you get tired of looking at all the chips/dings you'll accumulate.

Get a California Duster as it will be your best friend. No it will not scratch the paint.

I was at Barrett Jackson a few years ago and saw this guy dusting a $500K car with it and said are you nuts it will scratch. He was a professional detailer and told me if it scratched the paint he would be buying a new paint job for it. I have been using this on my classic car that has a $15K paint job and never once has it scratched it in 7 years.

All youre doing is creating swirls. If you drive it then you need to wash it.
