D1 or P1 procharger?

I want 700 whp and I'm doing a LS9 cam.

We never seem to stop wanting more so I wouldn't go smaller than the d1.I would get a proper cam before I spent the labor on a ls9 cam tho...

This if you are stuck on prochargers.

No reason to pull heads to make 700rwhp. IMO no reason to put a ls9 cam in if you are going through the effort to put a cam in it.

Seems LS9 cam is a common bang for your buck and is easy on valvetrain. Plus GM has a lot of R&D on their cam.

D1sc is good for 925 hp (give or take) p1sc 825 (give or take). I have the p1sc I'm going to test it's limits this winter. And don't worry about a "real cam" there's several over 900 whp with that cam you'll be just fine.

Those are capable numbers rated at the crank. Won't do that to the wheels. Good luck finding a D1 making over 850rwhp

And good luck finding one doing near that on a cam that small. I think what he meant was turbo cars are making 900+ on ls9 and baby cams. Blower cars, not so much.

To get those numbers at the wheel, you're looking at cam, fuel pump, injectors, tons of meth and nitrous. It's been done on the Vortech/Paxton side with the 1500 so it's easy to assume a Procharger can do it with the proper setup. I had a Paxton 1500 which is equivalent, and without nitrous, I made 811 at the wheel.

Stock cubes, cam, D1, 85# injectors, pump, meth injection, a very safe 8.7lbs of boost, 697 to the tires
