Ok so from the feedback I got from both our clubs about our gathering, the general consensus was that it was a great gathering and we should do it again!

This is what I was thinking and Henry sparked this idea. We meet every couple of months (preferably 3 times a year). 1 meet 5GVRGV will host in the upper valley, 1 meet Camaro5line will host in the lower valley, and 1 meet we meet in the middle. This way one club doesn't get all the benefits.

5GCRGV is willing to go to Harlingen for the next meet in the summer so long as Camaro5line is willing to come to McAllen in the fall/winter. We would also appreciate it if we could meet at an earlier time so we don't have problems with lighting for our pictures. The event can be anything from just hanging out at a restaurant to car shows and parades.

Also, so I get the meaning across correctly, I want the Weslaco (or central area) to be the location of the rallies. So March/April 2014, we will have the 2nd Annual South Texas 5th Generation Camaro Rally. Hopefully we can make shirts for all of us to wear for that event since we're coming together as Camaro owners and not 2 different clubs.

I'm sure there's more I want to say but I can't remember right now. So yeah. What do you guys think?

JMONTALVO ....Will plan our next meet at the bass pro shop in Harlingen. There's plenty of parking for both groups. Also, Bass pro shop offers a full bar and restaurant, with bowling alleys. ... By the end of April we can start planning.

Make sure you guys check out GroupMe for club communication. People with and without smartphones can use it except non-smartphone users must have a texting plan because that's how it sends them the notifications.

Hey guys/ladies, just wanted to introduce myself and invite you to an event that a friend of mine is having in mcallen this thurs. My names Jose and my friend is putting on an event at Havana club to raise awareness for autism. Donations of $10 will get you in and they will have a dancing contest with door prizes as well. I will be there as well round 8:30 and was wondering if you all usually get together on sat to cruise or hang out anywhere? I have a picture of the flyer for the event but i dont know how to post it on the quick reply link.

Thanks for stopping by on our thread. I will let the guys know on tomorrows meeting. We have a schedule meet up tomorrow Wednesday in san benito tx at Dairy Queen on hwy 77. Time7:30pm

Hey guys just wanted to pass along the word.

The RGV Porsche club will be having a Auto-X on April 15th @ Cameron County airport. An Auto X its a short track about 8/10th of a mile. Only one car will be allowed on the track at a time. Speeds will be lower & speeds will be limited to 3rd gear or probably 4th depending on car & driver.

Event starts @ 9am & entry fee is 50.00 more info @ www.rgvpca.org
