Charge battery for the winter?
Time to set the new Camaro the beauty of winter. My newly purchased 2010 Camaro 2SS. It was 3 weeks of great driving fun and now it's just to look forward to spring. My question is how to recharge the battery? ... But considering all the electronics and Program in the car's computer system, etc. ... Can I loosen the cable and charge the battery as "normal"? .... Or are there other options? . What do you do Camaro owners do with your Camaros? .... Grateful for answers

I got mine hooked up to a battery tender. These keep the battery at a steady charge.

One last wonder. Can I plug CTEK charger cables directly to the battery terminals? ... Or any other connection in the car? .. (Have not found any other connection) ...

I also have the Battery Tender Jr which is cheaper than the Plus and does the same job.

I don't really see a need. I've stored my last 3 car every winter and never had a low/dead battery in the spring.
