ZL1 or Z/28
I am looking at trading in my 12 SS and have a couple of choices
15 Z/28 w/582 miles 13 ZL1 w/5000 miles They are within $1000 of each other Which would you choose? Thanks |

The Z28, for all practical purposes, is brand new... But it has very few amenities that make daily driving more enjoyable... the creature comforts... But man ol' man it's a 427!!! You won't go wrong either way... Look at Maintenance costs too, ceramic brakes are $$$

For hardcore tracking no camaro is better than the Z28, but it less practical for every day driving.
The ZL1 for a bit of everything: daily driving, some track or some 1/4 mile and a ton more of confort with the magnetic adjustable shocks. But you said that the price is almost the same, then the Z28 would be a real bargain. Retail of a new Z28, always was above 10-15 K more than a ZL1. Enjoy your new toy.
