Here's a little clearer picture of Mcbride's killer rendering.

I am sure that the Nickey car is 700 hp at the crank. Punter, did Al mean at the crank or at the wheels?

I would say they meant at the crank. i think they would've put 700hp on the hood if it was to the wheels. Giving that todays' market would say "put it on a Dyno and see what it puts out" That's what i would have done if i made a car with 700hp to the wheels. I'd be like screw the block size, check out the HP i make at the rear wheels. If they are making 700 to the wheels and putting the smaller number on the hood then more power to em for going with the heritage factor. either way it's a bad *ss car

I was referring to Chevrolets internal testing, not Nickey's option. I just want to know how tough that rear end really is.

I wonder what the Phase 1 or 2 cars will cost. I'm sure the Phase 3 will probably be 60K+. It would be nice if the Phase 2 was in the mid-low 40's, possible with more of the classic 1st gen colors also.

A little hard for that to be RWHP when they don't have a car to begin with yet

On a side note, were you at the Freedom Chevrolet "car show" they had a few weekends back? That's where I ordered my 2SS from and the sales guy (Ruben) said they were going to have a show with older Camaro's as well as other vehicles there, and when I showed up there were only two 4th Gen camaro's and a bunch of on-the-lot Corvette's with prices on the windshields. |

60k for stage 3? No way they will just be adding 20k for 300 more hp. For prices I see it more closer to stage 1 around 45-50k, stage 2 around 70k and stage 3 at least 100k.
