cold air intake

What cold air intake should I put on my stock '12 ss L99? Not sure what brand. Which one worked for you?

Did you guys notice a big difference in performance or sound after installing a cold air intake in a 2SS?

i just put on the cold air inductions intake...and i must say...this intake has to be one of the best quality intakes i have ever purchased...also makes the car sound awesome

You will find with a quick search that most on here prefer the CAI intake system. The Airaid, CAI and Roto-Fab are my personal fav's.

Hit the search this forum button and you'll see this question asked over and over and over and over......again lol

2001 ws6, 40k miles, Ls3 416 stroker, short block built by PER the rest by me. LPE Ls3 heads milled to 12-1 comp, FAST 102, NW 102, kooks 2", dual DMH cutouts, Magnaflow C/B, BTR cam + springs. Full UMI suspension.

But I don't see how a cold air kit makes the exhaust roar lol.

No intake changes the exhaust sound; it's a misnomer. It does increase the intake sound, and people often mistake that for a change in exhaust note.
