Anyone have one around the northern virginia area? I was thinking about getting one but I really wanted to hear one in person before I made the commitment. I live in Fairfax but could meet you anywhere about 30-40 min away.

I'm in Pittsburgh, but I'll be driving my Camaro to Rockville, MD (about 30min north of you) to visit with the in-laws for Thanksgiving. I'm not sure of the schedule yet, other than to say we're coming in Thursday afternoon and heading out Friday morning. I might be able to meet up with you Friday morning if we can work it out. My mods are in my sig. I've had the v2's for about 10k now and have no complaints. PM me if you're interested.

Just go for it. I have had my MRTs for a little over a year now and so far they have been my favorite mod.

Yea, I probably will get it, but I really want to hear what this 'drone' sounds like that some people are saying

I don't have the resonated x-pipe, so if we meet up you'll be able to hear the drone if we hop on the highway. It's worst at 70mph @ 2k rpm and with the engine slightly under load. Either it's not that bad, or I've just gotten used to it. I might eventually get an x-pipe, but more to increase scavenging than anything.
