I may try to find some time to get him a ball drilled so he can get into it. He really is interested.

Nice....i went bowling saturday night for shitz and giggles with my wife and another couple, went through several pitchers and the fact that it was "extreme bowling night" definately didnt help my bowling game out. No lights on, black lights and strobes with loud music........haha my best out of 3 games was 125.

PQ.........well at least you reconized you needed a balll change, and it worked. Now you just need to know to move slightly left every 5 frames or so. Something I still don't do, but should. I just don't throw enough games a week to be a solid player yet. 5 more years and look out world..........LOL

thanks, I just had a good week. played down and in at first, then started swingin real well with the DV8. I normally crap out in the second game.

just out of curiosity, what kind of lanes do most people in here like to bowl on (synthetic or natural)? or has this been addressed already?

All the houses I have been in as of late are synthetic. I haven't seen wood lanes in years.......LOL

I am comfotable with either one.

one of the older houses i bowled in for state had wood. i think they were trying to mix it up. really messed me up BAD. so i found one around here and have been going back and forth between both. i was gonna see if anyone could tell me a difference in the 2 and what kind of break downs should generally be expected on wood.
