18's can fit on your SS

In almost every thread about Snow tires people debate whether 18's can fit over the Brembos. So i decided to collect pics of SS's with 18's on them.

There are more pics but I am tired of looking. If you have 18's on your SS post them here.

I don't think the debate was whether or not any 18's would clear the Brembos on the SS but rather if the stock LS 18" steel wheels would.

No there is a huge debate over this topic. No one with a set of 18's that fit on the SS without spacers or anything will list the brand and where they got the 18's. I have been trying to get a straight answer for 5 months. Top car is a SS but what wheels are they??

I can't find the thread but, it was mentioned that they got the rims / tires / tpms from tirerack. give them a try
you need to speak to one of the reps.

I ordered 18in wheels from tire rack and the fit just fine, thats my car in the top pic. The wheels were on clearance but they have others now.

Just got to make sure the offset is right and that they clear the calipers. Some will, some wont.

I've put this out there many times, but Bogart makes 5th gen specific 17's that are sold through SJM Manufacturing. You can also get a 5th gen specific line lock kit from SJM with pre-bent lines & everything you need to hook it up.

I understand the confusion. Tirerack is only adding to it. If you search under a 2SS RS you will not get any 18 inch tire or wheel options. And when I called to speak to a rep. He told me they would not fit my car. I had to go to a 19 inch wheel. Pick a different tire, etc. He would not "sell me" the 18 inch set.
So I said "good bye".
