Ideas for a Car?

Hey everybody
Right now I'm a freshman at southern illinois university studying auto tech. The auto tech program is off campus and is a pain to take the bus to everyday. I'm looking for a car to buy this summer (I know its early) for next year. I ofcourse am looking for a f-body. Probably a V6 manual for insurance, gas, and so I have enough money for the 5th gen when I graduate. I think I want to stay under 100K miles and want a 3800 V6. I have one now in my (parents) car and it's a great engine.

So if anybody has any ideas for any other cars or knows of anyone selling, it would be a real help if you could let me know.
Thanks!

wow. 12k OBO isn't bad for that Z28. From your post it looks like you are looking for a cheap F-bod primarily huh?

What's your budgeted price range?

Yes, primarily F-Body. I want a cost effecient car but still have fun. So I thought a V6 manual f-bod sounds like a good idea.
I would like the car to be under 5 or 6 thousand $.

Thanks camarospike. Those are some great offers but some of them are either too much or too many modifications. Ide like to find a car mostly stock. I dont mind and intake or exhaust system but you know what i mean.

another great car is something like a GTP they get good gas Milage, & are great sporty cars. Believe me I have seen some fast GTPs. The Supercharged 3800 V6 is great to mess with.

But Craigslist, autotrader, & Cars.com are all great sites to head when looking for a car.
