Loan problem, Pace Car vs SS price??

Hello, I need some help. My dad is trying to buy a real low mile 2010 Pace Car here locally. Our credit union cannot find any values ANYWHERE on the pace car so they need some type of proof to show that the Pace car sold for more than a regular 2SS/RS Camaro. Otherwise they can only use loan value on a loaded SS. Does anyone know where I could find anything on that? Google has turned up nothing for me! Help!

That's because in reality it's not worth more

Agree with Homeless, the only real difference between any pace car & it's equivalent make/model is the graphics/paint & interior scheme (worth maybe a couple K). Most banks/credit unions will only loan the value of the whatever make/model the car is plus options.

Maybe have the seller have a written appraisal done? The 10 Pace car sells much higher than the Camaro SS, I have seen them anywhere from 30, 000$ and up as only 250 were done

Well I certainly do not agree that they are not worth any more than a regular SS....I'm sure they are not worth $10k more but they are worth something in the $3k more range. That is what I am looking for....I think I might have found something that will work. Plus the credit union reached out to a local Chevy dealer who told him he would provide the documentation that the Pace Cars cost more than a loaded 2SS. Thanks

sorry bud...they aren't worth anymore than a regular SS. heck...the 1LE doesn't even show up as a trim level for them to increase values on in later models Camaros. Maybe in 50 years

They may not be "worth" more but the price on them is higher nonetheless. That is all he needs to validate.

That means they are worth more.

...and they are. There is most definitely a collector factor in play and 2010 is the lowest number of Camaro Pace Car Replicas ever at 249.

Does this mean it's a big number?... No. But it's something slightly above a regular SS. In fact the Z4Z package, just like a 1LE package cost extra too.

That's the same car as the SS , like someone already posted , it is just a couple more stickers and a little different interior trim

Exactly... which makes it worth more. Maybe $500... but still more. Certainly not enough for a loan company to differentiate

This 6-spd manual based for $41,430, the pace car package was $7065, total MSRP $49,945. Automatic would add about $1000 ($995 to be exact).
