Anyone know if Borla ever plans on making a system specifically for L99? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

They have a nice sound but supposedly the for the L99, the afm is pretty bad and drone is somewhat of an issue... so i was just wandering if they had plans on making a system just for the L99 like other companies.

Just call borla and order a borla axleback or catback for a 2010 Camaro. They ask what car you have. so they do make one for your L99.

I am running a set of the "S" type Borlas, and the drone isn't that bad at all, but the AFM is definatly noticeable.
I am going to call my Chev dealer to see if they will disable that feature so I don't need to buy a tuner just yet.

Ok, thanks, Xmicro_SS. I'm not trying to be rude, your exhaust does sound great, on a LS3! People are asking specifically for L99 with AFM. No one cares about how your sounds on a LS3, not the same. There are a lot of people here that would like to know how these various systems sound and respond to L99 and AFM. Comments like, "oh my system sounds great on my LS3" are totally pointless and not helping when we are asking about L99 and AFM!

And BTW, the Borla S type cat back system is part number 140280 for BOTH LS3 and L99. So Borla does not make a system just for the L99, it just bolts up the same.
