Only reason I could see for covering up the top, would be to prevent from any other body lines getting exposed. I would love to see a Targa/T top. Also I wonder if the SS will now have rear 1 piston calipers or if that is a i4/V6 model.

I mean it could just be roof camo to throw off the shape of the greenhouse. The fact that you can see the A-pillar extend into the roof rules out the convertible theory unless it's clever camo.

but there are other covered 6th gens that don't cover the top. i'll go find one.

another option could be a glass roof option.

although, with a glass roof option, why do you need to use padding. lol i'm lost.

I think the camo is covering some of the window, so you can't see the lines

people posting here?!

weren't those early pictures and then they took the padding off. i figure they were just disguising the roofline.

no, I think those are newer pictures. Unless tran posted them in the wrong order. the very first thread he posted with these cars with padding on didn't have the roof covered.

yes you're right. just the back part was covered in the first picture's. i don't know then. i would think if they're testing a car with a sunroof or convertible they'd want it exposed to test it properly.
