i was totally kicking myself this weekend, up visiting my mother about 10 miles outside of Lexington, would have killed for the chance to cheer Stevenson on... i was down by the track yesterday, but obviously everything was all packed up and gone. Heading home now, checking to boards from Columbus' airport. maybe i can catch 'em in daytona on the third...

It's always great to meet all of you guys at the track. I had a great time speaking with everyone that came out to Ohio! If you didn't make this one, come to another! We'll do out best to make it worthwhile.

I would love to race again on the west coast! I work up at Infineon Raceway and live only just over an our away from Laguna Seca. I got to play at my home track last year and broke the record for consecutive poles and tied the record for poles in a season. It was a great place to achieve a goal but unfortunately the last time I've raced there! Hopefully in years to come Grand-Am will find a way to get us back out to my home court again!

I think we all know the brand the snakes eminate from, it will definately take a Camaro to tame them. All the guys in the pit were great about signing the dash piece for Chris's Camaro, glad I was there to help facilitate swapping the parts out so your guys could put it in.
See ya @ Limerock.

Hallelujah

Thank you, thank you, thank you guys for posting this!!!

Was feeling a little put out that the previous races have not had much coverage on the Forum other than a few folks posts.

Now that several of the Camaro drivers and crews are posting, I'm sure it will get bigger just like the Continental Series (formerly Koni) will!

Give the Mustangs and Bimmers hell guys!

Any non-proprietary equipment and setup you guys can fill us in on will be much appreciated for us gear heads!

Go Camaro! Go !

Damn those race videos are hot!! Man I'm so amped. You rock MATT!

Watched the race which aired Saturday - Mid-Ohio.

Man the Camaros had a rough day. Better luck at the Jersey motor sports park!

Still, it was an awesome sight seeing Matt (#6 Sunoco) leading the pack for the first several laps. Way to go!

What was the diagnosis that was making the #6 so loose?

Thanks! Jersey is one of my favorite tracks. Most people don't share that opinion, but I really do think its fun. It has some really good high speed corners and great low speed corners as well. It has the smoothest surface you will ever see, ever. It really is great fun to drive and makes for some awesome racing. The Camaro should fair pretty well there, but we'll just have to wait and see!

I know it's not a Camaro, but here are a few laps from the qualifying run last year. It rained JUST as we were heading on to track and it was ridiculously slippery. I ended up getting pole by [IIRC] 0.04 seconds! That is VERY close for the rain! Sometimes you gotta take some chances and drive out of your mind... this was one of those times...

Enjoy!

(Hopefully this won't get moved to the video section since it isn't Camaro related... just Jersey related!)
