Thanks. I need to find that fitting/bleeder at the dealer.

Guys be careful when you crack your bleeder open. Spray some nutbuster on there.
Sorry dude I wish you the best of luck.. personally I can't wait to see your results. I am dying to know if it will fix your car too.

sounds like you got a bad clutch or pressure plate.

Yea....I thought the same. Even took it to the dealer as I was also having the sticking clutch problem. They replaced the clutch and flywheel. It got a little better. But the clutch is still lazy. That it the only way I can describe it. It just dose not engage firm. But once engaged it dose not slip. I can put it in 4th up a steep hill at 20mph and it just fine. No slip. It kinda sounds like a flow issue on the master?

Yes I believe they did change the pressure plate as well. I am in CT. I could try taking it back to the dealer again. But I just don't think they are going to get it right? Not sure.....

Maybe you should hit up Jannetty Racing since your in the same state maybe they could pin point the problem for you. Better then driving to me in jersey. Something doesn't sound right though and without having the car in front of me it will be hard to determine.

Hmmm... I'll have to save up for one of these, as I think it will be my next mod.

The new part came in today... Turns out to buy the breather.. I had to get the entire hose assembly that goes from the reservoir to the transmission. 70 bucks.

I will have this up and running tomorrow!!

Which clutch/RWHP?

Got a local friend with a fairly new ZR1 clutch (2k miles) and shifting problem, looking for some confirmation that high RPM WOT shifts got better with the ZR1 CX Max without having to granny shift (6k to redline). Track test and/or sticky tires best.

I got the Katech LS9 clutch, 465 rwhp, 6000 + RPM shifting no grinding anymore. Haven't had it to the track yet hoping for a clear wednesday next week to run it.
