Ok guys,

We are about a month away form sale point with these. There will be different levels of customization. The pricing will start somewhere between 80-90 dollars. Final pricing will be dependent upon how much customization is wanted.
Benefits of our hood bowtie will be:
1) Factory correct GM approved fonts and logos. Not incorrect cartoonish ones that every one else uses. I havent seen any yet that have correct logos, but ours.
This is an important detail, if you want your car to be right. GM will not approve incorrect logos.
2) Options for using different materials, finishes, and colors for the base bowtie piece. No wavy reflections, just true mirror.
3) Turnaround time of only 2-3 days to mail this out, not weeks. The fastest custom turnaround time on the market.
4) Customizations will include: Custom etchings in colors of black, white, and gold. Insertions, overlays, and whatever else you guys will want.
5) We are planning to be lighting these up as an option.

We cannot anticipate all of the customization you guys will want, so we will just be ready to do it when you ask.
So when you are ready, let me have your technical questions about these pieces.

Thanks, Roger

Awesome news Roger!!! Can't wait!

Attached is what I want except I want the "SS/RS" lettering outlined in black and filled in RED (Like the SS emblem already on the car).

Lit up from behind too!

Can these be customized? hehe, kidding.

I want the one posted above me with a white outline rather than black...and lit.

The lighting is something we have to experiement with some. It will require a different assembly method. We are planning to, and will try it out very soon.
We want to offer customization like no others can do, do these faster than others can do, and do things to them no one else will do.
So you can bet a lot of money, lighting will an option. When you think of underhood bowties, we want the name emblempros to come to mind.
Based upon what I know, these will be the only GM licensed ones on the market. Been emailing with the GM rep this morning already.

Thanks, Roger

Hey Roger, what kind of cost are we looking at with the one that Dave2SSRS posted a picture of? That may give a lot of us an idea what we will be plunking down after a bit of customization. I am really excited for these to go on sale. You guys have definitely done these right. Also, how are they going to be attaching to the hood liner?

We have the base cost established. We have not finished discussing here the levels of customization yet. We are not ruling any kind of customization out. Just need some more time to get our costs established on some things.
Don't hold me to anything yet, but that piece could be $110. I am not positive yet, but it is probably close. Lighting will surely add the the cost, but it would be cool as "you know what".
Our fastening methods we do not want to release just yet. We are not using any kind of silicone or glue. It is a mechanical fastening system, that requires minimal alteration to the hood liner. Any type of gluing to the fuzzy surface of the hood liner is an extremely bad idea, GM would never approve of it.

Thanks, Roger

I'm sure it's still up in the air but do you have any timeframe on the lighted ones? Ballpark?

This is one mod I'm really interested in.

We have been getting a lot of questions and PM's about these pieces. so I thought I would post the basic information again. Just to try to answer some questions. I welcome all questions, and it is not a problem for me. However this may answer a few of them for you guys.

We are about a month away form sale point with these. There will be different levels of customization. The pricing will start somewhere between $80.00-$90.00 dollars. Final pricing will be dependent upon how much customization is wanted.
The benefits of our underhood bowtie will be:
1) Factory correct GM approved fonts and logos. Not incorrect cartoonish ones that every one else uses. I havent seen any yet that have correct logos, but ours. This is an important detail, if you want your car to be correct. GM absolutely will not approve incorrect logos.
2) Options for using different materials, finishes, and colors for the base bowtie piece. No wavy funhouse reflections, just true mirror.
3) Turnaround time of only 2-3 days to mail this out, not weeks. The fastest custom turnaround time on the market.
4) Customizations will include: Custom etchings in colors of black, white, and gold. Insertions, overlays, and whatever else you guys will want.
5) We are planning to be lighting these up as an option. lighting options will be released at the same time we start selling them.

We cannot anticipate all of the customization you guys will want, so we will just be ready to do it when you ask.
So when you are ready, let me have your technical questions about these pieces.

Thanks, Roger
