New to the Forums! GM Technician!
Hello my name is Zach! I am a Camaro5 enthusiast, I have owned a 2012 1 SS and now a 2010 2SS!
I am a certified GM Technician currently, I am willing to assist others in repairs, offer wiring diagrams, and assistance with current issues seem with all GM products! Happy to be hear and love to learn more from everybody. Rock on Guys and Gals!

Do you also work on the Duramax? If so, is GM ever going to come up with a fix for the 24% DEF issue?

Welcome. I have a question for u. Last spring and even at the end of the privious fall my horn started going off and the dash lit up saying hood open. I replaced the hood latch and it continued. So I ended up putting a jumper wire in the connector to make it think the hood was closed. However by doing this my remote start didn't work. Question is, would a battery that was coming to the end of its life cause this or could it be something else? ECM, BCM?

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
 oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!
