Oil leak on pavers, advice?
As the title reads, unfortunately. Currently have some quikrete cleaner that i'm going to try, but I'm quite open to new ideas. Want to try as much as possible before having to resort to replacing the affected pavers.
Long story short I was in a bind and needed an oil change. Couldn't do it myself since my jack was busted, so I went to a mechanic my dad uses. Got my oil changed there, and found out two nights ago that the oil filter wasn't fully screwed on, so I was leaking badly, but only saw it once it was puddling out from under the car one day.

Flip the pavers and wash the dirt off.

We considered that but we're not sure if the bottom of the pavers we got have contoured edges like the topside do

My father tried many different methods for removing oil from a driveway. He finally used CLR and was very happy with the outcome.

Use EXimo concrete cleaner you can put it on dry or you can mix it with some water and spray it on. It is what businesses and cleaning professionals use.

As for everyone else's input, very much appreciated. Unfortunately turning the Pavers over is not an option as we've been told the design for the Pavers is only top side, so it's either clean or replace. Tried the quikrete cleaner I mentioned earlier, did about 6-8 repetitions of it, letting it sit for the instructed 5 minutes each time (sometimes more) and no real noticeable difference. Also, saw a few videos with people using carb cleaner... Seems sketch, but figured i'd see if anyone here has had any experience with that Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

Interesting, just brush and spray off?

I should note that some of these spills are not recent and have been there for a month or two

Yes, we used it at my family garage back when it was still cheap. |

Brakleen didn't work. Debating the kitty litter trick. Ultimately going to ask the guys who did our driveway (they're family friends) what they would do

The eximo I talked about is made up of enzymes that eat the oil. The stain will go away after a week or so. Gas stations, oil industry, and so on use this stuff. You can buy it on Amazon and such. For other methods to work well you have to treat it right away. Eximo works on even old stains and can go deep into the pores.
