Any word on ZL1 Vert production.

Does anyone have any news on how many ZL1 verts are rolling off the assembly line?

When is the next schedule product run for the ZL1 Vert?

How many ZL1 vert have been produced?

Anyone from the great white north have any insight?

Cheers,
Gt

I would say that they're not producing them in large quantities just yet. I remember when the announced the allocations back in June, they said that the Vert allocations were going to be a lot less than the coupes, so some dealers may not even get a Vert allocation at all. Those allocations covered June-Dec 2012.

I don't believe they are intentionally trying to limit production, my guess is that the demand for coupes just outstrips the current demand for Verts, probably in part due to the price of a Vert, and also because many 2012 orders became 2013 orders.

I ordered my Vert back on April 19th, the first day orders were being able to be entered.

My dealer was notified in June that they would only get a single Vert allocation this cycle, and they applied it to my order.

My Vert was built 8-13 and delivered to the dealer 8-27.

Sutliff in Harrisburg, PA has had an all black vert now for over a month. Not sure if there is a mark-up or not. Look on Ebay too. There were several on there for sticker.

Kenny Ross was selling theirs for $5,000 over invoice. I test drove the black auto ZL1 at C. Harper. They told me no markup, come on down. After the test drive they came back with the added $5k markup. Salesman was very nice though. After driving one, I will buy one. Just not paying over msrp. It's gonna be winter soon here anyway. Look out 2013. lol
