The two part epoxy paint is crap! its peeling for the 3rd time now and yes I followed instructions correctly. Im also thinking about going with vinyl tiles or something similar.

You have to use industrial stuff and prep the floor correctly. You have to acid etch the floor and pressure wash and allow the epoxy to sit for the correct amount of time. The other route is also very good. You just did not do it right. Its a pain and it is time consuming. The fumes are terrible.

looks great! looks like mine but I went for solid color because it is easier for my eyes to see small stuff I drop. I think I'm going blind at close distance. I have that old guy thing going where I put the newspaper further away to see it now.

We're in the process of working on our garage. I liked the race deck, my husband wanted the painted floor w/color specks put in it. We found out that person who poured/floated the floor didn't do a good job by the man door. The concrete to left of the door was lower than the concrete to the right (by the door jam). Which in turn didn't give us the clearance we needed to install the race deck. Either way you go, if you use studs on any of your tires ~ I'm sure it goes without saying, but I'll still say it...NO STUDS ON EITHER FLOOR. I was all ready to put the studs on my husbands car & I asked... Bummer!!! I can't wait until everything is done...The goal date to have the garage finished was Thanksgiving 2010. Oh well, It'll look great when it's finished.

I'm a huge fan of the inter-locking tile.
RaceDeck is the best. I used the Home Depot mail order tiles and they're holding up great.

Most people don't move very often, but if you do, the Race Deck goes with you pretty easily.

Although I prefer the Race Deck, nice pic! That is one of the nicer epoxy floors I've seen.

I would love to get RaceDeck but in Wisconsin I could not imagine trying to keep the sand/salt out from between the tiles. Race deck garages in my option are some of the bes looking garages. I am planning on UCoat paint in the spring along with the colored chips. Can't get enough of those garage pics, nice job.
