You'll see about a ~15whp gain on the SS with the Roto-Fab system.

Feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions.

I just placed my order for a CF roto fab CAI. I am currently running a Cold Air Inductions CAI ( with absolutely no complaints) on my ZL1 and had one on my SS. I will give a good write up on if any differences between the two as far a installation and Performance. Honestly from everything I have read over the pass couple of years on both CAIs they are comparable in power output. But its really hard to beat the Big Gulp with either of the two CAIs. The washer fliud re-locator is worth every penny. Really cleans up everything under the hood. At the end of the day the Carbon Fiber Finish and design is what won me over(Not to mention I may have a little OCD with everything matching lol)!

Whats the maintenance interval on this? I do not have my instructions left and not sure if its time to replace it / clean it (and how to clean it).

Thanks!

We always suggest every 10k. Depending on location you may need to do it every 5k (extremely dry, dusty areas) or not until 20k. The PROPER cleaning/oiling process is; Clean thoroughly with the cleaner in the kit, let dry completely , run a line of oil down the length of each PEAK of the ridges, let sit for 15 min, then dab a drop of oil on the lighter spots until a uniform color. The filter should look like this.

I recently bout Roto-Fab's Precision II cleaning kit and have cleaned the filter, but I have no idea how much oil to use. The instructions say you must use the correct amount for your application, and to check sbfilters web site for the amount, but I have been unable to find the answer either on Roto-Fab's web site, the sbfilters web site, nor in any of the instructions included in the box.

Can somebody tell me what the proper amount of oil to use is?

I have a 2013 ZL1 Vert with the Roto-Fab CAI.

Got my answer from Roto-Fab. Thanks Roto-Fab.

Tim,

This filter requires 56 grams of oil when servicing. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you.

Great product, I would have bought one even if it didn't give any power gains just for the sound. Hearing the SC work is like music to my ears.

Just did my Rotofab CAI, Big Gulp, and washer fluid reservoir install. I am VERY impressed with the quality of the components. The parts are well worth the money and install time. A Big thumbs up for the efforts in designing and manufacturing these high quality parts.

I actually just noticed that the heat shield on my roto-fab is holding that side of my hood up by about 1/8". Passenger side sits just below the fender and the drivers side sits just above. Anyone else have his? It's real subtle and I think can be fixed with a little grinding

There is a post on the bottom of the shield that fits through a rubber grommet on the frame.

Make SURE that the rubber grommet is fully seated in the frame and that the post is fully seated as well.

It's easy to unseat the grommet when you're pushing on the shield when installing it.
