Well I found a place who will paint the stripes for $1500, $3500 to paint and clear coat now to clear coat or not to clear coat that is the question

Wow, that sounds high to paint and clear. But I'd think you'd want to have the clear on there to protect the paint from scratches.

i did my 2010 victory red camaro with vinly.

i purchased the 3m 10" strips from cole brothers vinyl in florida...price $65.00
then had a local install the stripes for me....price $100.00. so i did my ride for
$165.00. saved my azz alot of money.

Wow!!!! That is expensive as hell!

You could repaint the entire car in my area for 3500$ - and I am talking a damn good paint job too!
