I'm sure a regular axle back would suffice if I were to keep it open but I plan on opening and closing, plus I love the sound of those NPP mufflers and OEM look.

Well I planned on running the vac lines, but I need to find a place to do it. The local dealership is asking way too much. I figured I'd leave them be until I got a ticket or something, then getting the vac's done would be a priority. I already have the Muffs, gonna install soon, but I'm low on cash and going to be with the forseeable bills. I simply dont have the cash to get everything done unless I do it myself, which I'm not even going to touch my vac lines myself.

That I really don't know. :\ I don't know of any aftermarket companies that make dual mode (with butterflies) mufflers. All I know is that they sound nice.

I have to look again but I'm not sure if the butterfly is actually in the muffler itself or is in the pipe coming out of them. Kinda reminds me of an automatic way of the old Borla exhaust on the Gen4 firebrid/camaro only automatically done. Those had a plate you could install or remove with a hole depending on how loud you wanted to go. I had that exhaust on my 00 TransAm and thought it was cool at the time! It cost about $850 but was a complete cat-back I think...

The butterflies are in the exhaust pipe and the vacuum canister/electrical connector are located in the passenger side rear quarter panel area attached to the frame. The electrical connector runs up through the trunk to the fuse box. I have LT's with the ADM Mild to Wild switch which allows you to close the butterflies or leave it stock. Most of the time I leave it in the stock position but the stealth mode is nice to have.
