SPi Procharged shop car
With some new pulleys we were able to bring the boost up a bit, and then with some tuning the SPi Camaro really woke up. We are very happy with the results so far. Here is the new dyno sheet. The tune is safe and fairly conservative, but should keep us happy for a little while on our stock bottom end We have been surprised with the power from our little P-1, lots more mods coming soon(body kit, custom cowl hood air intake, SPi catch can)........Can't wait for the forged parts and the new F1-R in the spring

We touched 6.5lbs with this setup. The car has our blower cam that is working awesome and is why the boost # is low.

So wait, with 6.5 lbs, you're making 650/560, and it's a conservative tune? You think the stock internals will hold up at the current level if you were to stay with that setup?

Knew you'd be on here checking this out... What A/F was the OP running for this. That is HUGE power output for 6.5 PSI. |

Exactly. With my longtubes catback and pulley, I'm hoping to make 580/500 with my P1. I'm not sure if lt and catback were a factor in this 650 horse, but if that's the case, a cam may be the way to go to keep my car sleeper.

+1 That's alot of power for only 6.5lbs of boost

I am not worried about the engine, we have alot of time and have logged alot of pulls on the dyno, the tune is good, the knock sensors are happy, and we are not pushing the limits of AFR at all. This is as far as we'll go with boost right now until we install our fuel system and air intake. We will be upgrading the internals and the blower in the future, but we're real happy with 640ish to the tire for now. We'll keep it at this level unitl we can get some track times, then we'll crank it up!

The cam is key to make this power. We won't be playing with more boost, the car is working great at this level and as much as I would like to try a "just a couple more pounds" I don't want to start tipping the borrowed time scales. Couldn't be happier with procharger and these awesome LS3 Camaro's - best shop car we have ever had!!

Do you have a contact number I can call and chat live for a couple minutes? I'd love to get some details about this setup as I run a P1 currently. Or do I need to wait until tomorrow? I know it's late out there in Ontario.

P1 is good for up to 850 hp I believe. the D1 is 1200, or something like that.
