Corsa exhaust question

Does anyone have just the exhaust system with stock cats and headers? Is it much louder then our stock one? I'm wanting somthing louder.

Thanks for any help!

Check out Borla or Magnaflow.

Corsa's have a weak "euro" type sound to them.

P.S. Dont forget to check out the Mild-to-Wild switch for the NPP...$80 best bang for the buck.

Yes, as the flaps are always open..if you chose.

Considering you avg. cat back is $1,000....$80 is hard to beat!

I LOVE my Corsa Exhaust. I can't stand raspy sounding exhausts like Borla. I also bought it because of the fact that there's no drone when at crusing speeds (Something you'll have to listen to with almost anything else). It's pretty loud when you get on it though. Even louder when you add a CAI. But before that I had the Corsa catback with stock cats and headers. It isn't as loud as a few others out there but once it wears in a bit it gets a little louder AND it has a really nice note that doesn't sound raspy. Raspy sounds like crap on the fifth gen Camaro's to me. It all depends on what you want though. You might love the raspy sound and not care about drone. If I could do it over I'd probably just buy the axleback version. The stock pipes are more than good enough. Just add an x-pipe and youll be good to go and save a couple bucks. Go find a few guys with different exhausts. YouTube doesn't do any of them justice.

Also, I have an SS so I can't really say anything for the ZL1's version. Just my .02 on Corsa.

Save the $80 and pull the fuse if you just want them open all the time anyways.

A few guys have reported error code/dash lights by pulling fuse only....

Here's a video of my SS before and after. The NPP on the ZL1 is gonna be louder than the stock SS but if you've heard a stock SS then this will give you an idea of what the Corsa will sound like in comparison.

No... considering your flaps are open at idle anyway and during heavy acceleration. It just kills a little drone while cruising down the highway. Nothing like the vette.

Try 20 bucks for the exact same M2W system from Amazon..

What I want to know is Corsa any louder than stock (catback only /no headers) or is it just a change in tone. The videos all have headers

wow thats just the opposite of how I percieve it. the corsa is very raspy to me at WOT and the borla is just a deap gowl all the way through the band.

pull your fuse first though.

corsa is expensive money is better spend on headers IMO but everbody has there own prioritys. Lontubes will give you all the volume you need and add more power.

I loved the corsa at WOT but it sounded bad at Idel to me. at idle it just has a old tractory my muffler fell off sound too me. sound is subjective though.

corsa is great at minimizing drone because the resonance of that exhaust it high enough in the rpm range your never crusing at that RPM. with this car the decel pop gets kind of anoying to me as the car gets louder. some people seem to like the backfiring crappy decel sound but I don't like it at all.
