Backup Sensors

I just wanted to give my two thumbs up for GM backup sensors.

I know my ride has bad visibility, but backing into my garage is a smooth deal with these badboys. I much prefer to backup then pull in nose first!

My vote goes for a Must Have!
Cheers from Portland

Agreed, I use my backup sensors everyday when backing into the garage. I just wish that I had a rear view camera to go along with it, but I will once I put an aftermarket radio in the camaro (Or MyLink if it's compatible)

No back up sensors on mine. I back in just fine. I have a spot on the garage wall that I line up with the mirror. Works every time.

My fiancé pulls in, but I have a tennis ball hanging from the ceiling so she doesn't hit my motorcycle.

I would've consider those sensors just another techno whiz-bang selling point that wouldn't be worth the money or wouldn't work as advertised... but they were sure as hell handy on my Taurus, which you also can't see the back of. I'll have to add them to anything I order in the future.

Just traded that Taurus for a new Escape that has front sensors as well in one of the option packages.

Love my camera and sensors. I never pull in nose-first anymore.

Same here. I park in a shared parking garage and it's unbelievably easier to just backup into my spot w/ the cam + sensors.

I love my backup sensors! They truly are a God send to counteract the horrible blind spots when backing up!!

Although I would love front sensors too as the hood does ride fairly long and high!

I have Ofers DIY backup camera, less than two hours to install and works great.

The backup sensors and camera more than paid for itself while on vacation couple weeks ago. I'm parked in the back 40 with only 2 other cars, and of course, as soon as I put mine in reverse someone else decides to pull out the same time. I was looking, but the camera view gave me a much better angle. Not to mention the beeping when they got close, gave me enough warning to blare the horn, and pull back in before they hit me. The deductible would have been more than I paid for the camera.

Pretty handy pulling out of the garage too. Glad I checked off that option.
