Question What are must-have options?

Say you start with the SS model coupe with LS3 and manual transmission...

Don't you want the premium stereo and leather seats and ambient lighting?
Aren't these only available in the SS2 option package?

Don't you want the HID headlights with halo rings and body-color roof ditch molding?
Aren't these only available in the RS option package?

Don't you want one of the types of stripes available? Are these available from the factory in white or cyber gray and possibly in other colors as a dealer-installed option?

SS + SS2 package + RS package + stripes = not gonna be cheap.

Anyone also want the dealer-installed short-throw Hurst shifter or any of the other dealer options?

I think that anyone who tries to get off cheap with a "stripper" model SS will wind up regretting not getting the ambient lighting or HIDs or (insert your favorite option here).

And I didn't even mention the optional sunroof (because I hate them).

lets say the ss will start at 30000-31000 the ss2 package 2000-3000$ the rs package 1500-2000, stripes i think 1000, sun roof 800 vert 3000- 4000

im getting the v6 so 26000-27000 + 2000+2000+100+800 o yeah vert 3000-4000

i came up with 35,000 for a fully loaded v6 vert

im guessing a fully loaded ss vert will go in the range of 40000

im just taking a guess

lets see what prices you come up with

Really, how would 26,000 be competitive against a 22k Challenger, and a 20k Mustang?

Mine will be a V8 with hockey stripes, the 4-gauge pod, and the RS package. This should be around $30k.

If I can't afford that, it will be a very sad year until I can.
