Specter Werkes Camaro GTZ Extractor Hood

The Specter GTZ Camaro heat extractor hood not only adds an aggressive look, it also releases high pressure air and heat from the engine bay while negating front end lift. Hood design is understated, yet extremely functional, stock height is retained not to inhibit driver’s visibility.

Built using ACS’s proprietary RTM process (Resin Transfer Molding) it is injected using continuous glass mat and a specially formulated vinyl-ester resin to meet strict durability standards. Hood inner is trimmed using a precision CNC water jet cutter while the panels are bonded using OE spec adhesive. The GTZ hood is then hand finished ready for final prep. Reinforced hardware is incorporated in the design for safety and warrant a perfect fit on any 2010+ Camaro.

The Specter Werkes GTZ hood is a direct bolt on and includes all necessary hardware including grill screen and bezel for easy installation.
Hood is in production and initial shipments will be available in the coming weeks.

Swap your hood and improve the performance of your Camaro !

Looks really nice!
Do you have temperature readings with and without the hood? Just curious...

We will have some numbers in a few weeks, currently logging data. Rest assured it drops the temps quite a bit.

Designer has been involved in various race programs, design was purpose built

Specter designed the hood for cooling and to reduce high speed lifting, adding a water management system would have reduced its efficiency.

The extractor is located very forward in the engine bay, any water entering the opening is hitting the radiator support brace, so no issues of water damage.

I have had a prototype hood on my car for quite some time... no issues whatsoever.

You mean the E-force from Edlebrock ?

I'll have to check, i think they have a different intake tube layout.... Any local Camaro forum members willing to come in for a test fit ;-)
