Fuel Economy am I doing this right?

I used to avg. around 16 mpg mostly driving around town not many hway miles. But this happened after I got my CAI. Car sounds so much better and the CAI was worth the $$ spent.

Something is wrong, did you pull the batt term after installion or fuse pull?

Nothing wrong.
I got CAI and scoop and I was at the same level (13-14 MPG) Then I got custom tune (93 octane) and now I have 16-17 MPG.
But we do not take our beasts to save on fuel, right?

Have you reset it? After the CAI you've probably been heavy footed and enjoying it. Rested the AVG economy and drive normally, then you'll know.

I did reset it after I got the CAI. On the hway I was getting around 28-31 right after the install. This reading is for the last 300-400 miles.

On my 2010 2SS I did the CAI, ported TB and catback exhaust all at the same time and my mileage went up about 1 1/2 mpg.
I averaged 19.5 around town and 22.5 all around with freeway thrown in the mix.
I could get 26+ on the freeway in good conditions.

Something is wrong. I'm bone stock and drive like I stole it and I'm averaging 15.7 mpg in the city.

I added a CAI and glass packs a week or so ago.
Just made a 500 mile round trup this weekend
Cruise set to 79 most of the trip both ways.
Average speed on both legs was 72.5
MPG on the way out was 26.3 and MPG on the way back was 27.6
I guess the car finally adjusted for the mods..

The more traffic on Camaro5 the better. It's getting noticeably less activity now.
