Trunk rifle mount?

The Zombie thread got me thinking. I've really wanted to mount one or two of my AR15's in the trunk but haven't figured out a solid way to do so. Has anyone made a rifle mount for the trunk?

I don't know, that's why I am asking? Do you understand?

I'm talking about a nice vehicle specific rifle mount, not some ****ing 2x4's and roofing nails.

I transport my PS90 and FS2000 in Pelican cases whenever I go to the range.

I usually throw my AR in its bag when traveling with it. Mostly because I'm not gang banging and haven't the need to pull my gat out of the trunk at a moments notice.

Heck. I think I've ran 60 rounds through my AR this year.

if anything i would suggest putting in beefier struts or whatever so when you hit the trunk release it pops all the way open. don't want to waste precious moments opening the trunk when the zombies come...

I think having a way to mount my ARs in my trunk would be sweet. But extremely non practical.
Makes me think of Bad Boys/bad Boys 2 with will smith and Martin Lawrence.

Exactly. It's just an idea I had and would love to do it.
