Thought I would update my 45th a bit. Thanks to TheDecon for the idea and contact on the rally stripes. Also did the gills in the same red as the stripe.

I'm sure I'll get blasted for this, but can you really have a 45th anniversary car when the car was dead for ten years? Obviously you can because chevy did it, but seems a bit disingenuous. They are beautiful cars though and my opinion doesn't take anything away from that.

Let's see ... The Camaro was born in '67 it's 2012 ... Pretty sure that is 45 years ...
Camaro wasn't "dead" ... It just took them a while to make it this good...

If I'm married for 30 years and divorced for ten then re-marry her (god forbid, I'd never be that stupid again) I wouldn't be celebrating my 40 year anniversary. Again, it's nothing against the car or the people who bought them, it's just that you can't say the car has been continuously made for 45 years. GM held on to the name but otherwise, it was dead, discontinued, on hiatus, vacation, in research and development, whatever you want to call it, bottom line is there was a span of a decade that you couldn't buy one.

Damn man ... get a life ... If all I had to worry about was a 10 year hiatus of a car ... I would be a very happy guy.....

That it surely is, but that's not an anniversary. Anniversary is defined as the "annual recurrence (emphasis added) of a date marking a notable event". But nevermind, I knew I should have kept my trap shut. I'm finally starting to understand why all my law professors called me combative. Which I guess is okay in legal settings, but not so much for social settings. Might also explain why I have no friends.

The 10 years is nothing cars company do it specially with super cars such as lamborghini and Ferrari. They do it to advance there technologies and really come through with a bang. So for a performance vehicle I don't mind that they took ten years it was worth it!

None of my posts were personal affronts. I merely questioned the legitimacy of the car carrying a 45th anniversary tag. Enjoy your 1,300 dollars worth of stickers and badges and I'll work on getting a life.
