I'm fairly certain you or Ppaz would most likely beat Swacer at the track since he's never ran his SS before.

Great cop then. A buddy of mine in high school was driving a early 90s Thunderbird down 422 at 135mph and lost his license for 6 months and had to spend the night in jail.

I've driven real race cars. So racing my DD doesn't interest me, in the slightest.

Hm...let me see what i can find at home. My facebook has nothing. I have pictures OF the car (and sadly 2 at that) but none of me.

Strangly enough, I never felt the need for pictures. We usually video recorded runs and the price for the pictures from those asshole photographers was ridiculous.

Zoomed in, driver looks to be older than 16. Looks more like your dad. Unless you got a nose job for your 17th birthday.

Also noting, since this was at a NHRA Track, and this picture states you were in a finals event and for your Camaro to be pretty boring for you to race, that race car must be moving faster than 9.99 @ 135, which means, you would of needed a NHRA Competition License in order to compete.

Link to the application form whch requres a state driver's license # as well. So I guess you had to fill out the form, get it accepted and a state DL on the same day.

Correct...it means we ran Super Gas. 9.90 category.

You don't need a license to run outside of the event. That was Thursday which was T&T day. You don't need a license for outside of class runs because its not a NHRA sanctioned event at that point. I didn't have one because we didn't have the time to do all the running around to 2 NHRA sanctioned tracks on 2 separate occasions to get the runs in. My father would run the event itself.

Additionally, you don't need one for bracket racing, which is when I got to run.

Sadly my dad sold that car 3 years ago. He didn't like it as much as he did his Super Street Camaro. Hell, i barely think he has much from it except one picture he got when he runnered up at the PRP IHRA divisional race a number of years ago. He got into Harleys and that was the end of the race car.

Agreed. I grabbed the car picture and the event I remember that being, but I do not have one of me. Sorry

I'll take a look at home/parents and see what I can find. If I can't find one without it being my dad (figured one of my dad would work given the situation with some background, but ok), I'm sorry. Pretty sure he only has 2-3 pictures to his name of it.
