Talking Cold Air Inductions Intake... Highly Recommended

I received my Intake from "Cold Air Inductions" after much research and very helpful thread comparing all the intake systems that are available for the new 2010 Camaro SS thanks to Jannetty Racing . This one proved to provide the best overall torque and horsepower ratings in my view.

Anyway it only took 20 minutes disassemble the factory intake AND Install the new one. The fit and finish is excellent, and as far as power is concerned... Very very impressed, throttle response in much better, butt factor dyno is improved, not to mention the more aggressive sound under the hood. and now I have a to feather the throttle with TC on or off if i punch it at a roll to keep it from burning the tires off of it.

My Recommendation... buy this one ... it's a good investment, for the horsepower and money.

Will post photos as soon.

My wife bought it for me for Christmas and she said it took 2 months (Ordered Oct 21st - Delievered Dec 23rd) at my door. She was worried it wasn't going to make it. She also said customer service was great, they assured her it was going to be there on time and it was just barely

Thanks for the reply, getarz!! So Bri88blue, I'll have a check at Jannetty's site and see if any are available. If it's not...

Do you need to do a tune after the install or is it just a bolt on and go system.

Bolt on and go - no tune required

The ONLY thing i noticed when I started the car was that the ECU had to compensate for the volume of air that was passing the MAF and probably the tempreture as well. After it figured that out, it ran smooth.

And as i'm sitting here typing fedex just dropped off my Headers, XPIPE and Exhaust from Maryland speed.

i wrote the original post about cold air inductions, and with their intake in my car for over 3 months, i've had zero problems. james' customer service has been FANTASTIC. their product is ridiculously high quality too. better than the plastic parts a lot of manufacturers are using. i also love that you can see through the plexiglass .
