Not quite. The LT1 makes much of its torque in the low end with the peak occuring around 2400 rpm. The V6 has to rev a little higher to start making the higher numbers, and its peak torque isn't as high as the peak torque on the LT1.

im well aware of the differences, hence why I said "about the same"
