I just received my kit from Jerry and Ideal Garage. It came with a couple caps, but no hose. Are folks using their factory hose with this mod?

The kit I bought from JDP came with a hose. The stock hose might be too short to reach the secondary reservoir.

What's the internal diameter of the EPDM hose? I'm having the hardest time finding it anywhere! Will a braided stainless fuel line work?

Just received and installed mine from JDP

So much easier than trying to make my one from my motorcycle work, trying to find a location point, trying to find the right hose, trying to fabric a bracket, etc....

I believe if you mount it toward the back like in post 52 above (bend the supplied bracket), the stock hose will work.
if you mount it straight off the MC with a straight bracket you will need a longer hose.

Cap Options for brake reservoir??

I'm doing this mod and like most people here haven't been able to locate the cap made of the EPDM. I was wondering if these would hold up to brake fluid?
http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/d...rm=vacuum+caps

If not, I remember reading in an earlier post where someone installed a screw before capping off the clutch outlet on the brake reservoir. I thought this might my back up plan if the caps mentioned above won't work.

I have a car show this weekend and really want to get this done.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

This is exactly why I bought the complete GTO kit from JDP Motorsports. From the time I popped the hood, installed it, closed the hood was 30 min.

I had several reservoirs from my bikes, but by the time I made a bracket, secured it, got the right line, found the proper cap/plug, it just was not worth the hassle
