ZL1 spoiler install help

I got a ZL1 spoiler for Christmas but the mounting hardware is not included. The studs are there but no nuts or whatever is used to hold it on.

I've searched here and see no reference to part numbers or what's appropriate to mount the spoiler appropriately. There are some nice install instructions but again no reference to what's used. I need to order these to get this baby on!

Thanks!

Or... How about the exploded view of the ZL1 spoiler showing the part numbers. Need some help here.

You use your existing nuts to install they are the same as the 2010-2013 spoilers now if you car did not come with the spoiler they are either 10mm or 6mm nuts I do not recall.

Yeah, I'm one of the few that does not have a factory spoiler. So, they are just regular nuts? not lock nuts? Are washers needed? etc...

Who's doing the installation? You doing it yourself or taking it to a shop? If you're bringing it to a shop, let them take care of the mounting hardware. I got mine installed at a Chevy dealership/body shop.

I've got 3 quotes for paint and install ranging from $250 - $350. Surprisingly the dealer was the cheapest. I thought it would be the other way around. So, yes at this point I will be going to the dealer.

Now I was kicking around the idea of doing the paint and install myself. But honestly, I'm a bit gun shy on painting the spoiler myself which is why I was seeking the proper mounting hardware.

I got the ZL1 spoiler harness, which the dealership also installed. I got the harness from gen5diy. They did not cut off any of the bolts or clips. The spoiler I ordered pre-painted from Maureen @ Rodgers. Maureen also supplied some complimentary color-matched plugs to fill in 3 holes in my trunk.

Thanks for the tips. You and RTRO 2SS both have been cool enough to throw out some great info from your expreriences installing the ZL1 spoiler. I anticipate I'll have the paint done in a couple weeks. The plug n play harness looks really nice. I'll have to get one of those too.
