Coilover choices
I am in need of upgrading my stock 74K (FE4) suspension, I have already purchased all bushings for front and rear as well as subframe mounts and sway bars front and rear. I am looking to get coilovers front and rear and I don't want to get some not so good performing coilover setup that fails to quickly, meaning leaks or needs constant adjustment because of wear and tear or just plain crappy.
I would like someone that has had different coilovers to prioritize them from best to worst with a pros and cons for each brand. My goal is a daily driver that handles like it is on rails and is ready for autocrossing when I am ready to play. Thanks ahead for any input.

Also interested in this. Looking for choices that will also allow a adjustable drop to make my 22" and 265 and 315/30's look good in the wells.

Ridetech coil overs are really well designed and built (in the USA I might add) and they stand behind them with a 1,000,001 mile warranty. They were designed specifically for the 5th Gen rather than just having a different mount welded on a generic setup and don't require cutting a hole in your trunk in order to reach to adjustment like some of the cheaper foreign brands.

A friend has them amd says they are good. On a bumpy asphalt street at 25 mph they were softer amd absorbed the bumps better set on a stiff setting the my pedders supercars set soft! From what I have read they are the ones to go with for the price. They are the ones I will go with if needed in the future.

I purchased the HQs before she even arrived and were on the car day two. One of the best Mods I've done. Check out my build and look at the videos I put together on post #17. Alot of details on them. Enjoy

I'm actually looking for a set of coilovers for drag racing purpose. I have searched and cant find a good opinion/ option. Can a vendor also PM me with an option? I am looking to buy something ASAP. I've been looking into Strange or Santhuffs.. Not sure if I'm even looking in the right direction.
The build is a 427 with 500 shot of spray. So I need something that can perform well. Please let me know on feedback. |

As another great option for those looking for excellent high quality coilovers. aFe CONTROL has a setup for both the street/track and drag racing disciplines.
