Don't Buy a Vortech if you live in California

Vortech is not even trying to get CARB certification for the Camaro kit.

So if you have installed a Vortech and live in California your screwed.

How about "Don't live in California if you want to buy a Vortech"

Honestly if you're THAT concerned with carb laws I would find a different hobby...

I feel bad for people in California trying to mod cars. It's not a good state for that.

If you needed California Carb Certification and you were dumb enough to install a kit without prior knowlege of the ramifications......well, you get what you deserve....

When ask Vortech at the time I purchased about CARB they told me that they were working on certification, they lied.

If I was not worried about CARB I would have done twin turbos, at the time I got the Vortech no supercharger had CARB cert yet.

Vortech had no plans to cert the kit they just told me that they would.

  • I can walk a half mile down to the beach and see bikini girls frolicking 300 days out of the year.
  • We have fantastic weather, national landmarks, cultural diversity, and several gorgeous national parks (including Yosemite), just to name a few.
  • We get an occasional quake, but all of our buildings are designed for that.
  • Everybody else gets blizzards, heat waves, hurricanes, tornadoes, and an undeserved sense of superiority over Californians.
