Be sure to post pictures when you get them back. I am also going to have Mike do mine. What color are you going with?

MAKE SURE YOU DON'T GET WHITE LETTERING DONE !!!! I was told by Mike after the fact that the white lettering cannot be clearcoated, soooo, AMAZING work done by Mike, i love the calipers but definitely would have gone with a different color lettering had I known bc now the heat from the brakes has made the stickers peel off and shrink and it looks awful....just lettin ya know ! You will be very impressed though with Mikes work !

Cool!

Thanks for the great info. I am going with Silver Brembo letters, and asked Mike if he could actually do the Chevrolet stickers also. They would be red.

Guess I will have to make sure that they can be clear coated.

Should look pretty cool.

Maybe you can get a reverse cut of the brembo decals and paint it before the clear coat..

That's a good idea. Should work. In fact I think that would be better for all colors, instead of a sticker?????

Why is white so special? I'm assuming he can put the Brembo decal on in other colors and clear coat them?

I have also been speaking with John about powdercoating my Calipers.
I want to go with Blue to match my custom painted BowTies.

However, I have been posting for some DIY Instructions on Brembo removal and reinstall with no response so far.

Thanks for the heads up on the stickers and AWESOME idea on reverse cut of the Brembo sticker!!!!

Mr. Brownstone

Apparently you and I are posting about the same stuff. Mike is working on my caliper order now. Finally got some info from Unrestricted Motorsports on the removal thread. But could use more input from others.

Beats me but when i drove the car the day i had them put back on and noticed once i got home the decals were peeling, I emailed Mike and asked what the deal was and the response i got was, O i cant clear coat over white, but I can with any of the other colors.......so i just assume thats just they way it is with white....o well
