So it was carbon fiber vinyl that was applied, wrapped around the pieces?

Definatly a nice job, looks good. I wouldn't think that the geometric pattern of the CF would look as good wrapped (warped?) around those corners and in the grooves.

hello, the pieces are dipped into the carbon fiber material, not sure of how the full process works, but this is the guy I used. Rick at San Antonio Hydro Grafix 210-724-0163 give him a call, super nice guy, he can give you all the details.

whoa - you thinking about anything else? Like the door panels, engine cover, or what not?

There is no CF material involved whatsoever other than the interpretation of a CF pattern.

Sorry, but I had to be sure others know and to def call before jumping in....

probably inside door handles (it has the switch for windows) and the ring around the center air cond vents (thin rectangle ring) then soon some engine stuff.

I like the real carbon fiber trim kit from carid. The hydrographic coating does not give off that shine that carbon fiber does. If anything I would have wrapped it in 3M Di-Noc vinyl.

That would depend on the process. There are some hydrographic sites that show a gloss finish on their Cf process. It depends on how many coats of clear they spray on. Some of the sites have awsome results.
