what trim to get?

Personally, I like the black door trim. Also, mine is black, so it would look fine, but there are so many options on the link posted at the top of this thread. Which one is the right one? (J-shaped, U-Shaped, L-Shaped, Precision, Trim-Guard Brand)? Help Please... Just got a ding on outside of door edge (wind took door out of my hand and hit it into mailbox...UGH!!!). Want to help prevent future chips..

This is the type of parking space I have at work
I work as a Network/Phone technician and once I was able to park my Dodge MegaCab Ram truck in this type of spot I don't just hope its there in the morning. When I'm done with my work van for the day I simply "swap" out vehicles and go about my day knowing that my personal vehicle will have full protection all day and in the moring I know it will be there

Hey thanks for this great article. Gotta loves strategies for parking the Camaro to minimize door dings, etc.

I wonder if the clear bra would work on the majority part of the door as well.....I guess what I am thinking or saying is that if the clear bra works so well up front against rocks and chips, woud it not work well in the same capacity on the doors so if some one opened their door on yours, it would help protect at least the paint from chipping? When I get my clear bra done, I was thinking of asking my installer if he could do my doors as well. Not sure if this would be a good idea or not. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Door ding protection

...also makes a dandy anti-theft device

That trim leaves marks on your paint after it ages. I would rather take the little ding or chip paint over that. Just my two cents

Can you tell me how much of this trim you ordered? My camaro is white and i need something like this... not sure if they make it in white, but black will probably work.

When my dad had a his vette he would actually get the bubble wrap from the shipping dept. at his work that had the big bubbles and put it on his passenger door. He got to work early everyday and parked in a corner spot and put a "shield" on his "exposed side". Such a dork ::
