That can't possibly be true. I refuse to believe GM built your car and shipped it in a protective bubble. Pretty sure yours arrived like the rest of ours, imperfect.

You should clay bar it. I've never caused scratches or swirls from claying..

OP- you're good to go as soon as you get the car. Give it the full workup right away. Then you should only have to do minor upkeep to keep it looking great for years to come.

Only if you clay'd dry, or with water only. If you use waterless wash ($$$) or soapy water in a spray bottle it should not scratch.

Actually we tend to steer people away from waterless as a clay lube... too slippery.

Right away!

I Zaino'd my car a week after I got her. Only reason I didn't sooner is because I was working.

Dawn wash, Z18 clay, Z7 wash, dry, Z5, Z2, Z2!
