I'm helping build what will be the largest oil refinery in the US when it is complete next year.
I look at it this way. 93 is about 3.90 here in SE Texas but the money at the refinery is good enough, I consider the nice paycheck as a weekly rebate on what my gas costs. I don't mind at all right now paying $63 to fill up.

Yeah I just filled up and it was 3.98 for 91 octane. Its coming and unfortunatly it will go higher by the end of the month because of the travel season.

toss some of your "rebate" my way if 63 to fill up is no big deal

4.20-4.35 for the cheap stuff out here.

Thanks for posting this. Your nine word post speaks volumes of what's screwed up with our world.
The USA would also pay 10 bucks for a fill up if we simply allowed drilling and refinery expansion.
Our government is supporting gas high prices because they want us to buy a Prius.

I paid 1.48/Litre on April 30 for 91 Octane ,which is 5.59/Gal and that was about 3 cents a litre less than most stations.

I had always wondered why there were no diesel cars around when we visit the 'States. Didn't realise they weren't generally allowed. Interesting, thanks.

Next time you are at the pump take a pic of the prices. I need a photo for this one! Makes my head spin!

One thing about politics? The leaders may sit in an important chair (presidents or kings), but its the power hungry madmen that really control the the bottom dollar here.

So there is a difference of dollars on a gallon?

Well I just filled up both my 2010 Camaro 2LT/RS at $4.16 a gallon (Regular Unleaded) and my 2005 Dodge Magnum R/T at $4.26 a gallon (Mid-range Unleaded). Total I paid for gas this morning for both cars was $118.00. This is in El Centro/Imperial, California.
