Not including you, at least I hope not, but he does not look because he does not want some fool to try to start a race! Either that or he is a guy with some jack that does not give a damn about cars, just happens to own a cool one.

My days of street racing are over, so I don't really care what is under the hood of the car next to me at a light.
However, before they changed the front bumper, I used to think to myself, "they should have gotten the SS" every time I saw a Camaro without the mail slot. Even my daughter says it when she sees a non-SS. That is just how I feel, cuz I love the LS3 and the LS engines in general. Plus, growing up, all the 6 cyl were crap in our eyes.

Haha im not pulling up like Vin Diesel and the whole "it's exactly a quater mile to the railroad tracks".....More like wow that is a great ride! Most of the time it appears to be guys who think they are too cool for school.

There is always someone faster.
It doesn't matter what assumptions there are about the car next to you. One day the one next to you will be the one in front of you no matter what you do. |

The only reason I feel awkward or ill at ease at red lights is because I've been rear ended three times in the last 5 years while stopped at traffic lights. Twice at the same intersection except heading the other direction.

The only comment I have is I think about doing a burn out at every light I am stopped at and that just must be my past kicking in (70 Chevelle SS) but I really don't get the what you have under a hood and then I am disappointed, who cares, freak that if your game so am I. Did you ever think that some of the v8 drivers suck and do most of there HP Flexing in these threads. Drive it like you have a set !

Yeah, but I wouldn't call the GT-R a muscle car (or pony car). A twin turbo V6 in an import car is different than a V6 in a domestic muscle car. A twin turbo V6 engine is just as powerful, if not more, than a NA V8.
Given the option, and if money was no cost, I would always go for the V8 option purely based on sound. I like the sound of a NA V8 way more than a turbo V6. |

I get the whole V6 vs V8 argument, but I got a Camaro for the sole fact that it is a absolute beautiful car. It doesn't really matter to me so much about the power under the hood. The V6 has plenty for my everyday needs.

Yes, great feeling when at a red light next to a V8 muscle car. I always nod and/or throw a quick rev (cammed with lt headers and full 3" exhaust is an attention getter). No disrespect to 6'ers but I typically wont acknowledge them (with a rev) bc chances are they dont get it anyway and I would not run em anyway. With me though if there is another V8 muscle/pony car at the light next to me it will end up in a conversation and/or quick run.
